Restoration Village Arts, on behalf of Bread For the World Institute and Women of Faith For 1,000 Days is happy to present Songs For 1,000 Days, artists advocating for the food security of vulnerable women and children.
The 1,000 Days movement promotes targeted action to improve nutrition for mothers and children in the 1,000 days between a woman’s pregnancy and her child’s second birthday. Good nutrition during this window can have a life-changing impact on a child’s future and help break the cycle of poverty. The artists featured on this project have joined the 1,000 Days Movement to educate communities and advocate for policy change in the United States in order to end hunger at home and abroad and give every child the chance to thrive.
